I refined my surgical technique and skills completing a Sports Medicine (Arthroscopy) Fellowship with OASIS Sports Medical Group in San Diego. I have been in private practice here in San Diego for almost 5 years now, with part-time involvment with the Shoulder-Knee Institute. I have developed specialty knowledge in understanding the intricacies of the Worker's Compensation System of the State of California as a Qualified Medical Evaluator. I have been the team physician for Helix High School sports teams since 2004. I have written several articles for peer-reviewed Orthopaedic publications. I am Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
I approach every patient as an individual and look at every problem as important. My goals are not just to relieve pain but also to maximize function, helping all my patients to achieve their goals in life. I apply a high level of expectation to myself and treat everyone with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Continually acquiring new knowledge and skills, I use all the latest techniques and equipment. My specialty training in arthroscopy and sports medicine is key to properly caring for injured and degenerative joints.
