RN PreOP Recovery (Full Time and Per Diem available)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The PreOP and Recovery Room Registered Nurse is responsible for total nursing care of all pre-and post surgical patients, including education enabling patient to become a partner in their recovery.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training which will be indicated by graduation from an accredited RN school of nursing; current State RN licensure; current CPR certification; ACLS certification; additional experience in PACU, ICU or orthopedic floor nursing; willingness to assign high priority to patient safety, comfort and satisfaction; the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; and the ability to work compatibly with physicians, other department members, and clinic employees in other departments.

PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
May be expected to lift up to 50 pounds or up to 150 pounds with assistance. May be expected to push or pull 150-300 pounds with assistance. Work is of medium demand; walking or standing most of the time while on duty. Visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterity essential to performing designated duties required. Optimal auditory acuity required. Manual dexterity involving the handling of equipment and instruments or needles is essential to performing assigned duties. Physical work environments are clean, neat and well lit. May be subjected to unpleasant sights and odors, stressful situations and hazardous or infectious agents where judgment as to precautions that need to be taken is essential. Climate control and ambient temperature variances may be experienced and required by patient care and needs of surgical team. Exposure to limited amounts of radiation, hazardous chemicals or substances and infectious disease processes are a possibility. Hours of duty may be irregular or unexpectedly extended due to the requirements of the daily schedule.

Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Per Diem)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse provides expert professional nursing care; assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care rendered to patients with urgent, emergent or potential health problems; and participates in the management of the department.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training which will be indicated by graduation from an accredited RN school of nursing; current State licensure; CPR certification; minimum of two years perioperative experience; dedication to patient safety, comfort and satisfaction; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to work compatibly with physicians and other staff members; and ACLS certification.

PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
May be expected to lift up to 50 pounds or up to 150 pounds with assistance. May be expected to push or pull 150-300 pounds with assistance. Work is of medium demand; walking or standing most of the time while on duty. Visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterity essential to performing designated duties required. Optimal auditory acuity required. Manual dexterity involving the handling of equipment and instruments or needles is essential to performing assigned duties. Fluoro tech (Per Diem)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services performs radiology procedures and assures proper care and maintenance of all radiology equipment. Demonstrates good knowledge of principles and practices of procedural technique. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment, procedures and positions used for various procedures. Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina and endurance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the United States
* Graduate from an AMA approved school for Radiography, either college affiliated, hospital trained or military trained.
* Current licensure in the State of California for Radiography and Fluoroscopy
* Minimum one year experience with surgical fluoroscopic procedures
* BCLS
* Ability to relate and work effectively with others
* Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
* Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement.
* Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements for radiographic equipment
